Salary | £400+ PER WEEK Immediate Start | Full Time | 10 minute walk from Highbury & IslingtonNursery Practitioner Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the nursery team in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 2-4 years.
  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable to explore and learn.
  • Support children with personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and maintaining hygiene.
  • Observe and assess children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records and reporting to senior staff and parents as required.
Nursery Practitioner Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its application.
  • Patient, nurturing, and compassionate nature, coupled with a genuine love for working with young children.
  • Desirable but not essential: Relevant childcare qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Childcare Certificate.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
