This opportunity is ideal for a skilled mixing engineer with a passion for Hip Hop, particularly those experienced in both English and Spanish-language music. The role involves collaborating on a personal music project, focusing on unfinished tracks that require professional mixing and mastering. The artist records at home using a Warm Audio WA-47jr microphone, a soundproof cube studio, and Adobe Premiere Pro Audition, with beats primarily sourced from Beatopia.com. The position is remote and offers the chance to contribute creatively to the final sound of each song, with the potential for ongoing collaboration on future projects.
Mix and master Hip Hop tracks in both English and Spanish, ensuring clarity, balance, and genre-appropriate sound.
Work with home-recorded vocals and instrumentals, optimizing audio quality using provided equipment and software.
Prepare final masters suitable for digital distribution and streaming platforms.
Maintain organized project files and deliverables for each song.
Communicate progress and address any technical or creative challenges promptly.
Proven experience mixing and mastering Hip Hop music, with a portfolio demonstrating bilingual (English/Spanish) projects preferred.
Proficiency in audio editing and mixing software, especially Adobe Premiere Pro Audition.
Ability to work with home studio recordings and optimize sound quality.
