What You’ll Be Doing You will be handling a diverse caseload of defendant litigated files, from OIC to Fast Track. You'll review damages, develop case plans, and coordinate with clients, third parties, and insurers through negotiations and correspondence. Your role includes drafting legal documents, attending court hearings, and managing cases from start to finish efficiently and cost-effectively. You'll ensure compliance with legal standards, SLAs, and firm procedures while maintaining excellent time management and organisational skills. What do I need? To excel in this role, you will have at least 12 months experience in handling litigated claims; preferably defendant cases, and a good understanding of the CPR, SRA Code of Conduct, and motor insurance. Familiarity with medical reports is a plus. You should be client-focused, organised, and able to meet billing targets while providing excellent client care. The ideal candidate takes initiative, adapts well to change, and works effectively under pressure - whether independently or as part of a team.
