Assembly Setter

Tennial Personnel are seeking a Setter to work on a temporary to permanent assignment (after qualifying period of 12 weeks) you will be Working for a company who manufactures Pump & Value Components for a range of global industries, in an extensive range of complex materials. With a culture of continuous improvement, continued investment, and overt teamwork.

Your duties will include working primarily for our client's sand casting process, with the following non-exhaustive range of processes:

• Produce sand moulds using a pre-produced pattern
• Ramming sand into boxes and curing with C02
• Strip the cured mould, check the quality before presenting to the next process
• Prepare moulds for assembly through coating, painting with refracting coating
• Set cores into mould and close cope
• Drag parts of mould to form fully assembled sand moulds
• Make final preparations prior to molten and metal pouring
• Read and understand process method sheet and work sheets
• Operate overhead crane driving and slinging
• Manual craft foundry making bespoke parts in small batches
• Transfer into complementary departments when demand and skills coverage is required
