Are you an enthusiastic, eager and energetic teaching assistant looking to work within Education?
Are you an Educated LSA who is avidly searching for the ‘right’ school this Easter?
If you are we want to hear from you We are pleased to be continuously working with a number of Primary Schools in Islington who cater for and work with students between EYFS and KS2.
We are looking for experienced SEN TA’s that could potentially be looking to join new Schools this coming Easter to establish a career in education.
Easter Start -
* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Long/Short term
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30 (some part time positions also available)
Job Details -
* This role will require you to work 1:1, or in small groups with children that need extra support
* Creating caring and support relationships
* Provide support to children with SEN
* Encourage learning and assist children with their activities
* Interact with the children throughout the school day and be a positive role model
* Be confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
* Getting the classroom ready for lessons
* Listening to children read, reading to them
* Meet the needs of the children and assist the class teacher
Requirements from you -
* Excellent written/verbal communication and time-management skills
* The ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
* Have a caring and nurturing personally
* Experience working with SEN children
* Passionate about making a difference
* Comfortable providing pupils with extra care and attention
