In this role, you will manage the daily operations of our Inverness branch and ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our products and services. Manage and motivate a team of depot operatives, providing guidance, training, and ongoing support to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase market share.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with manufacturing and distribution to ensure adequate stock availability and timely order fulfilment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the building merchant, building plastics or construction industry.
A valid driver's license.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
Knowledge of building plastics and related products.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
