The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of commercial and residential buildings by implementing fire stopping measures, specifically focusing on batt and mastic applications for the duration of an 8-9 week project.

Fire Stopping Installation: Execute fire stopping installations in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.

Proficiently apply batt insulation and mastic sealants to effectively prevent the spread of fire through penetrations, joints, and gaps in building structures.

Ensure all fire stopping work adheres to relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards, maintaining a high level of quality and compliance throughout the project.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate fire stopping activities, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Maintain accurate records of fire stopping activities, including installation details, material usage, and compliance documentation.

Strictly adhere to health and safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and create a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Experience: Proven experience as a Fire Stopper or in a similar role, with expertise in batt and mastic applications.

Comprehensive understanding of fire stopping techniques, materials, and regulations.

Certifications: Relevant certifications or training in fire stopping and/or construction safety (e.g., FDIS, NVQ Level 2 Fire Protection, CSCS card) preferred.

Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality workmanship.

Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and work schedules as needed.
