Region Vice President, European NATO Region and US COCOMs Strategic Development

General Atomics is seeking is seeking a detail-oriented team player to represent GA-ASI to European NATO customers, and to liaise with U.S. European Command (EUCOM) and U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) and their components. This is a full-time position for which the successful candidate must be a US Citizen, resident full-time in Europe. Proximity to our offices in London, Munich/Oberpfaffenhofen, Berlin, or Dresden is desirable. A successful candidate should be a self-starter with minimal oversight, demonstrate good analytic and organizational skills, and be an experienced strategic communicator. Frequent travel throughout Europe is anticipated. Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent GA-ASI by creating, building, and maintaining relationships with EUCOM and AFRICOM, their component commands and other stakeholder organizations.
- Support existing foreign employees and country consultants as the GA-ASI “factory representative”.
- Assist in shaping requirements to facilitate development and procurement of GA-ASI products and services to include foreign partners.
- Synchronize DoD business development efforts to include unmanned aerial systems, payloads/sensors, and data exploitation/Common Operating Picture capabilities.
- Travel to locations in Europe upon request.
- 15+ Years of related work experience in aerospace & defense, whether gained in government or industry or both.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Background in MQ-9 Operations is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and specifically be comfortable and able to convey ideas to various customers including senior leaders.
- Frequent travel within Europe is required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and reside within Europe as role is based full-time in Europe.
