Hardie Polymers, established in 1924, is the UK's leading independent distributor of engineering polymers, proudly serving the Automotive, Aerospace, and Electronic industries. As our Account Manager, you’ll work from our offices based within our warehouse in Milngavie. You will work closely with our Technical Sales Manager to build and nurture relationships with new and existing customers. You will play a key role in driving growth by managing day-to-day sales activities, continuously improving processes, and identifying new business opportunities. Proactively contact existing accounts to quote, win business, and explore further opportunities.
Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries promptly.
Utilise our CRM system and other resources to identify new sales leads.
Log all activity in our CRM system for transparency and tracking.
Deliver high-quality service to increase business growth and customer satisfaction.
Leverage your initiative and problem-solving skills to enhance customer service.
At Hardie Polymers, our customers buy from people they like, so first and foremost your personality will be your greatest asset. To thrive in this role you should bring proven experience in sales or customer management within a B2B environment. We don’t expect you to have specific product knowledge right away and we provide full training in this area. We provide a full-time, permanent, office-based position with a basic salary dependent on experience and an uncapped commission structure, offering unlimited earning potential (expected OTE of £45K within your first year).
