Inspector

We are looking for an **Aircraft Parts Inspector** for a long-term role with our well-established client.**Salary:** £18.81 per hour, 38.5 hours per week.**Hours:**- Mon-Thurs: 08.00-16.30- Fri: 07.30-14.30The purpose of this role is to carry out the inspection of a full range of aircraft components and ground support equipment, making the decision to repair & overhaul or remove from service. Inspection can take place at the customers' sites or source of supply, with on-the-job training provided to understand various customer requirements, including different standards of log cards.**Qualifications:**- Relevant engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience- Previous engineering role experience- Ability to differentiate accurate specifications**Main Duties Include:**- Inspection of aircraft components and ground support equipment- Inspection of suppliers' associated documentation- Receipt of repair & overhaul components from customers for traceability- Use of measuring equipment including Faro Arm / CATIA Workstation- Interface with on-site customers and supplier representatives- Liaise with quality engineers- Problem-solving with internal and external representatives- Operation of computer systems required for the role- Hazardous material inspection- Inspection of parts at suppliers' premises- Product audits and quality occurrence reports- Fault investigation- Long-term storage preparation**Candidate Experience:**- Product audits experience- Problem-solving and presentation skills- Professional report writing skills- Aerospace experience beneficial**Desired Skills:**- Specialist measuring techniques- Knowledge of dangerous goods and COSHH Regulations- GOLDesp, CIETP, and MJDI systems knowledgeIf you meet the qualifications and experience outlined above, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
