As an AML Analyst, you will be a key player in safeguarding the company against financial crimes. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring transactions, identifying suspicious activities, and ensuring compliance with AML regulations. Your technical expertise in data warehousing and your knowledge of fraud prevention in the UK financial sector will be crucial to your success in this role.
Utilize data warehousing tools to manage and analyze large datasets efficiently.
Develop and implement AML policies and procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare and submit detailed reports to regulatory bodies.
Stay updated on the latest AML regulations and best practices within the financial sector.
Provide training and support to staff on AML and fraud prevention measures.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all AML activities and findings.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of industry experience (preferably 2), preferably in AML, compliance, or fraud prevention.
Strong technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel.
Experience with data warehousing and associated technologies.
In-depth knowledge of fraud prevention in the UK financial sector.
Competitive salary up to £50,000 DOE.
