We now have an exciting opportunity for a Category Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Procurement , you’ll lead a team of buyers and take ownership of two transacted frameworks, driving strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and continuous improvement that directly impacts NHS Trusts nationwide.
Lead, inspire and develop a team of 2 Buyers and 1 Junior Buyer to deliver savings, growth, and category performance.
Drive procurement and supplier management strategies that maximise value and support NHS Trust needs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Operations, Finance, and Data teams to deliver KPIs.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong commercial acumen with a collaborative, ethical approach. Proven experience in category management or procurement, ideally within food, retail, or public sector environments.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse teams and suppliers.
