As we expand our digital footprint, we're seeking an enthusiastic and smart Social Media and Influencer Marketing Executive to help execute on our ambitious marketing strategies.
Working amongst the in-house marketing team and with several outside digital agencies, you will play a key role in implementing innovative social media strategies, managing a budget, developing relationships with brands, collaborating with social media influencers, pitching creative ideas, and creating engaging content aimed at developing and expanding our brands across B2B and B2C channels, utilising both paid and organic content.
We have been manufacturing and selling high quality timber products for almost 40 years across several business streams including Zest Outdoor Living, P&A Pallets & Packaging, and The Woodworks Garden Centre and Café, and each one is dedicated to delivering a high level of customer satisfaction and top-quality products.
The Role - Social Media and Influencer Marketing Executive
Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Executive you will be responsible for driving brand presence with B2B and B2C customers of the P&A Group, in particular Zest, delivering compelling campaigns and collaborations cross all major social media platforms. You’ll use your passion for social listening, networking and storytelling skills to create engagement across various platforms, including, but not exclusive to, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads & YouTube. Deliver on all aspects of social media marketing; campaign planning, budgeting, content creation, post scheduling, and responding to customer comments on all major social media platforms.
Ideate and pitch creative content ideas that resonate with our target audience and align with brand identity.
Manage your own budget to cultivate and nurture relationships with key brands and social media influencers, using initiative to create cost-effective strategies such as prize draw promotions, competitions, partnerships, and collaborations.
Support with influencer outreach, negotiations and product delivery, ensuring a seamless experience.
Assist on other key digital marketing activity such as email marketing, supplying content for paid ad campaigns, and supporting internal social media communications.
Undertake periodic online market research, customer research, and competitor analysis.
Develop colleague’s competency and confidence using social media across the business.
Proactively engage in your own continuous development ensuring your knowledge of digital marketing trends and developments are current including changes in social media platforms and algorithms.
Requirements - Social Media and Influencer Marketing Executive
Solid understanding of marketing principles and strategies
Passion for social media marketing, networking, and building relationships
A great storyteller and content creator, with a knack for crafting compelling and succinct content, and a keen eye for emerging trends in lifestyle industries
Strong working knowledge of all major social media platforms, in particular Instagram and Facebook
Good foundation in social media analytic tools and platforms
Proven experience in social media content creation, scheduling, tracking, budget management, and data analysis
