Senior Network Engineer

To £60k +O/T + £OnCall + Benefits

Essex (Flexible Hybrid working 2 days a week)

Who's it for...

We are proud to be partnering with a fast growing Private Equity backed Managed IT Services Provider. An established MSP and network services business now into the early stages of their high growth journey to build and expand They now need a Senior Networking Engineer.

The Role…

-To work with customers across complex networking and routing solutions, Firewalls, BGP, Wireless and a variety of other networking technology.

-Installation projects and liaise with the Networking Solutions team for customers with multi site networks.

-Provide trouble shooting and support to manage and support customers networks across CISCO, Fortinet and some Sophos if you have the skills too.

-Support the business with technical networking questions and documentation for customer proposals.

What's needed…

-Strong Networking background and understanding of complex routing + BGP's

-Firewalls + wireless network technologies

-Cisco + Fortinet and additional vendor products

-Troubleshooting experience

-Installation and ideally some network design experience

-An understanding of network data center technology to commission support and on board new customers would be an advantage for some of work you could be involved in if you have the skills.
