HGV Mechanic Location: Wigan Depot, WN3 6PJ
Starting at £16 per hour, DOE + Overtime rates
Contract : Full-time, permanent
Hours: 50 hours per week - Monday-Friday
The company is now very proudly run by the family along with a strong team of over 35 employees from HGV drivers, slingers, maintenance team and office staff.
HGV Mechanic - The Role
We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to Inspect, Repair and MOT Prep our own fleet of trucks and trailers
We run a variety of Scania Volvo and Daf trucks (The trailers we run are a variety of Flat Draw Bar Trailers and Flat Bed Arctic Trailers) therefore previous experience in these vehicles is welcomed.
We have a 3Bay workshop with pits in each bay and our own Brake Test Machine.
HGV Mechanic - What we need from you
UK Driver's License (Ideally Class 1 HGV)
• Level 3 Qualified or Equivalent HGV Mechanic.
• Previous experience with Inspection, Repair, MOT Prep and HGV maintenance.
• Overtime - The hourly rate is £16 per hour at a minimum experience, Monday to Friday and £24 per hour on a Saturday.
No agencies please.
