Our client is an established, independent provider of professional scaffolding and associated trade services operating from premises in London. They provide multiple services across various sectors such as; Contract Scaffolding, Emergency Response & Dangerous Structures, Fabrication Works, Transport & Logistics and Specialist Works. Due to the ongoing success, they now require an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic and successful team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for helping to estimate costs, quantities, project timelines and providing this information to clients. You will also liaise with a variety of other teams and ensure that projects remain on track. Quantity Surveyor - Scaffolding What's in it for you? Salary - Up to £70,000 (depending on experience). 28 days of holiday (Including bank holidays and Christmas shutdown). Working hours are 7am-5pm (can be flexible). Yearly bonus opportunity. Laptop provided.Quantity Surveyor - Scaffolding Position Overview Work alongside clients to establish their requirements. Undertake feasibility studies to ensure proposal efficacy. Estimate material quantities, costs, labour, and time. Prepare tender and contract documents. Perform risk and value management during a project. Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance work. Negotiate contracts and work schedules. Assign work to subcontractors - overseeing their work at all stages. Value completed work and arranging payments. Ensure projects meet legal and quality standards. Continually analyse outcomes and write budget reports and advise on contractual claims and disputes. Cost control.Quantity Surveyor - Scaffolding Position Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Scaffolding background experience is essential. Bachelors degree preferred. Efficient and accurate communication.
