This exciting role will commence after the half-term holiday, offering you the chance to contribute to the growth and development of our students from the very start of their educational journey. About the Role: As an EYFS SEN TA, you'll play a crucial role in providing tailored support to pupils with diverse learning needs. While the specific needs of the pupil are not yet diagnosed, we suspect autism, and your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to the identified pupil, assisting with academic tasks, social integration, and emotional regulation.
  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations that meet the unique needs of the pupil.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and encourages active participation.
  • Monitor and track the progress of the pupil, providing regular feedback to the teaching team and adapting support strategies as needed.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you must possess:
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (essential).
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably within an Early Years setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, coupled with a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of every child.
