Gutology is a fast growing D2C brand focused on microbiome friendly consumables and microbiome testing. We're an 'all hands on deck' team, giving you the opportunity to work on multiple projects and enhance your code/no-code skills alongside an agile and friendly cohort. There will also be opportunity for personal and professional growth as the company grows.
We’re looking for a graduate or self taught developer with a passion for automations & beautiful web experiences. You must enjoy the challenge of picking up new tools and sharing your knowledge with others. You’re comfortable finding solutions and reporting on the status of project tasks quickly and constructively. Start up life is different to contracting or agency work. An enthusiasm for automations, ai and data is a must.
Very good working knowledge of HTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3, and browser capabilities. You write clean, self-documenting, semantic HTML.
Should be able to write high-quality code with a sharp eye for spotting errors and converting designs exactly.
A team player and an excellent communicator, who will be able to both give and receive constructive feedback during internal project reviews.
Have a 'roll up sleeves' attitude to support across a variety of projects.
Experience with UX design to help drive user behaviour
~ Degree in computer science (or similar). 2+ years post uni experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
~2+ years’ experience developing Shopify websites using Liquid.
~Work closely with our CEO, content and operations team.
Taking a keen interest in quality of work via thorough testing of your own work, as well as getting involved in peer reviews and debugging issues collectively.
Learning from senior colleagues and training opportunities, as well as assisting and supporting the team around you.
