Our client is a leading manufacturer of customer electronic systems and sub-systems for the Defence markets. Our client has 4+ global sites and requites a Facilities and Security Manager to ensure the safety and security of their facilities.

Job Overview: Our client is seeking a Security and Facilities Manager to ensure the safety and security of our facilities, manage site HR administration, and maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. This role will also involve aligning processes across our global sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Office and Facilities Management:

  • Oversee Site HR administration.
  • Ensure compliance with facility practices and company directives.
  • Support Health, Safety, Environmental, and IT policy implementation.
  • Manage building maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Prepare monthly reports and manage audit registers.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records for compliance.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential tasks with discretion.
  • Control calibration schedules and records.

Security Management:

  • Act as Deputy Security Controller and site Security Coordinator.
  • Manage security across one site with potential to take on aspects of a global role.
  • Support security audits and maintain security policies.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and legislative requirements.
  • Manage Security Aspects Letters (SALs).
  • Conduct security training, risk assessments, and manage security incidents.
  • Advise on physical security hardware and liaise with IT for network compliance.
  • Perform daily security activities and coordinate security passes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in facilities and security management.
  • Understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of security policies and legislative requirements.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of ITAR regulations desirable.
