Security Consultant - Policy Lead - Middle East BAE Systems Digital Intelligence has been contracted to deliver aNational Cyber Security Programme in the Middle East as a client sidestrategic advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a best ofbreed capability delivery team that will deliver a National Programmeto enhance a Nations Cyber Security posture. The role is based in theMiddle East on assignment for 12 months so there are no options forhybrid working as the majority of time will be spend on client site. As Policy Lead you will be responsible for the productionand authoring of a range of National Level Cyber Security Policiesincluding skills frameworks, certification and accreditation standardsand the production of National Cyber Security Strategy. Other responsibilities include:- The development ofKey Performance measures to track successful implementation of thestrategy
- Ensuring alignment of National Policy with legaland regulatory frameworks and organisational objectives and goals.
- Stakeholder management to ensure policy meets all Nationalstakeholder requirements and is written so that it is accepted andimplementable.
- Development of requirements for futureactivities aligned to the capability roadmap.
- Developmentand Authoring of an achievable and costed project and action plan toimplement the National Strategy aligned to the capability goals andobjectives.
- Production and Authoring of implementable,clear and concise Target Operating Models and associateddocumentation.
- Mentor client policy team.
- General security consultancy taking responsibility for the definition,documentation and successful completion of complex projects
- Identifying problems / risks arise that will affect delivery andmanages these appropriately.
- Leading teams and / ordeliverables with responsibility for delivering to plan (e.g.prioritising and organising multiple activities)
- Substantialexperience working at a National Policy level or production oforganisational policies for CISO/CIO.
- Experience workingwith UK or other International Government departments, ideally the UKNCSC or foreign equivalents.
- Client side consulting,including stakeholder engagement and the ability to communicateinsights and concepts to others (including briefing skills and reportwriting), having and maintaining Credibility is essential.
- Able to understand and adapt to different cultures and hierarchicalstructures.
- Team player and adept at working inmulti-disciplinary and diverse teams to include:
- Ability tobuild and maintain relationships with the various stakeholders
- Ability to talk competently and maintain high standards ofbehaviour with the client
- Ability to work in amulti-cultural environment.
- Ability to maintainconfidentiality and deal with matters of national security.
- Ability to maintain high standards and provide challengingfeedback even when it will be perceived negatively.
- Ability to complete tasks with minimaldirection.
- Proven analytical skills capable of solving newand complex technical problems.
- Excellent written andverbal communication skills with the ability to communicate the impactand importance of detailed technical information to non-technical andsenior audiences. Arabic speaking would be advantageous but it notmandatory.
- Support the managing and building ofrelationships with customer and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and motivates others keeping morale and performancehigh.
