As the Data Scientist you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data analytics to support decision-making processes, improve user experience, and drive growth in our marketplace platform. It would be good to mention you are not along in this working closely with the head of data and a team of analysts daily to support.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to identify key business challenges and opportunities for data-driven solutions.
Be an out-of-the-box thinker who is passionate about brainstorming and implementing innovative ways to use our unique data to answer business problems.
Collect, clean, and pre-process large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data integrity and reliability.
Develop machine learning models and algorithms to optimize user engagement, customer segmentation, cohort analysis and pricing strategies.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations that inform product development and marketing initiatives.
Build and deploy predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory management, and customer lifetime value prediction.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Pandas.
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
Experience with SQL databases, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase.
