The Energy Data Analyst Position In this position, you will be evaluating risks by analysing statistical information by undertaking various forms of analysis and mathematical calculations from the initial analysis of data quality through the final analysis and report writing. Flexible working options available. Main Responsibilities Managing master data and users Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content Liaise with energy suppliers to get regular access to consumption data and energy billing data Provide quality assurance of imported data Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security and metadata Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes Set up and maintain automated data processes Produce and track key performance indicators Develop and support reporting processes Monitor and audit data quality Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations Key Requirements Related degree level qualification Experience in energy data analysis is preferable Ability to translate business requirements into understandable terms Experience in handling large data sets Attention to detail Effective communication and organisational skills Report writing skills and ability to effectively present results Salary and Benefits Competitive salary circa £40k depending on experience Company pension Hybrid working Personal Profile The ideal candidate must maintain the confidentiality of information about clients and other services in accordance with the company policy.
