Job description
How would you like to be paid for five days but only work four*?
Our colleagues’ wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at OFG, so we’re always looking for new ways to improve everyone’s work/life balance.
We’re taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent).
4DWW will be rolled out within our school, when we have a full complement of staff, and within the next year – so there’s never been a more exciting time to join us #teamOFG
Job title: Humanities Teacher
Location: Red Kite School, Princes Risborough
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum dependent on experience(not pro-rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent; Term Time only

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Humanities Teacher to join our new Acorn Education School - Red Kite School in Princes Risborough.
Purpose of the Job
As a dynamic and motivated qualified Teacher, you already have a passion for making a difference in the lives of pupils and young people. In this role, you will have every opportunity to live up to this ambition, responding to the needs of each individual as you help them flourish and thrive.
You will plan and deliver engaging learning on a daily basis, developing exciting and innovative methods that stimulate interest and excitement in the classroom. You will observe, monitor and assess them, making sure their personal development and wellbeing are as important as the academic curriculum.
Participate in Safeguarding and Team Teach training and always be vigilant of the pupils’ well-being and welfare in any interactions with pupils
Responsibility for teaching three disciplines History/Geography/RE
Inspire, motivate and challenge pupils in the delivery of the curriculum across the year groups
Take responsibility and be accountable for the academic outcomes of pupils taught
Contribute to the pastoral care of pupils and support their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development
