DeFi/Blockchain Trading Engineer

Crypto Market Making and Trading Firm - DeFi Team

London, UK

Join a leading crypto market maker providing billions in daily liquidity to cryptocurrency protocols and exchanges. They are looking to hire a DeFi Trading Engineer for their agile team focused on algo trading across various blockchains. You'll design and develop scalable software for on-chain systematic trading and off-chain applications in Rust. Collaborate with Quant Traders and Engineers from concept to production.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Expertise in blockchains, DeFi, and automated trading.
  • Knowledge of DEXs, protocol mechanics, blockchain fundamentals, and smart contract security.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with production-quality code in a compiled language.
  • Proficiency in Rust, Python, or TypeScript.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent communication and detail-oriented mindset.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with non-EVM blockchains (Solana, Cosmos, Aptos, Sui).
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud computing and distributed systems.
