Wright Engineering, an engineering and construction industry leader, are recruiting for site plater/welders to join our construction division on a permanent basis.

  • Working on sites and projects throughout the UK
  • Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00 + optional overtime
  • £17.93 per hour basic pay + £1.87 per hour working away bonus
  • Pre-booked hotel accommodation - single rooms
  • Daily working away food & drink allowance
  • Overtime rates of £26.90 per hour and £35.86 per hour
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Free secure on-site parking
The role:
  • Working on a diverse range of projects in sectors such as Power Stations, Quarries, Construction, Manufacturing and more.
  • Travelling to various sites to work in new and challenging environments.
  • Perform precision welding and plating tasks in medium to heavy engineering settings.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications to execute site-based modifications.
  • Fabricate and join metal parts using various welding processes and materials for construction and structural integrity.
  • Problem solving on-site issues and ensuring adherence to the highest safety and quality standards.

Experience:
  • FCAW Welding - 3 years
  • MIG Welding - 3 years
