Senior Infrastructure Engineer

LYNK has partnered with a leading Cybersecurity services provider to recruit as part of their Technical Delivery team. This company delivers advanced Cyber services across critical sectors — supporting clients through offerings such as 24/7 SOC operations, Security Assurance, Threat Intelligence, Third-Party Risk, and Crisis Simulations . About the Role You’ll play a key role in delivering and optimising cybersecurity solutions across a diverse client base. You’ll focus on areas such as medical device/OT security, anti-ransomware solutions, third-party risk management, security assurance , and AI security . Working closely with clients, project teams, and partners, you’ll ensure smooth onboarding, configuration, and operational excellence of security services across hybrid and cloud environments. This role is remote, based from home, however infrequent travel to client sites is required. This would be expensed. A brief description would be a senior 3rd line or Infrastructure Engineer, capable of the technical implementation and configuration of Managed Services into a clients infrastructure. This person would be looking to specialise in Cyber Security. Proven experience in network security - routing, switching, and firewall configuration Strong knowledge of segmentation, security protocols, and secure network design Ability to engage technically with clients and manage end-to-end delivery Understanding of CVEs, vulnerability management , and broader cyber risk Customer-facing experience in sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure Excellent documentation and reporting skills — able to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience with cloud security (AWS / Azure / GCP) and IoT or medical device environments (Desirable) Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Sentinel , or similar endpoint management/security tools Awareness of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIS2 , or similar compliance frameworks Key Responsibilities Service Delivery Implement, configure, and optimise security solutions including Cylera, Horizon3.ai, Halcyon , and others Support Third-Party Risk Management and Security Assurance services Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver on scope, quality, and timelines Produce high-quality technical documentation and service reports Act as a trusted technical point of contact for clients throughout the delivery lifecycle Network & Security Support Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, and routers Support IoT and medical device connectivity, particularly within Cylera environments Identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and potential threats Assist with the integration of customer networks into managed security platforms Cloud Security (Desirable) Contribute to secure design and configuration across AWS, Azure, or GCP Provide guidance on hybrid and multi-cloud security best practices Qualifications & Experience Certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP , Fortinet NSE , or CompTIA Security+ (advantageous) Demonstrable experience delivering Cyber services in: Threat & Vulnerability Management Penetration Testing / Offensive Security SOC / MDR operations Third-Party Risk or Compliance (ISO, NIST, GDPR) Additional Information Must have the right to live and work in the UK Full UK driving licence and access to transport Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK as needed Employment subject to DBS and national security vetting Interested?
