About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Brother’s European headquarters in Manchester to support the management of a number of major international accounts and to help lead the transformation channel strategy for SOHO (Small Office & Home Office) printing products.

You will be a key member of the Pan European & Trade team and you will be responsible for administrative support of a major trade account, support with the management of a number of major international accounts and also assist the management team in SOHO printing department in all aspects of the delivery and long-term management of a transformational channel strategy project, as well as leading the analysis of complex data in order to report and advise on strategic direction.

You will need to foster and maintain close working relationships with all Brother European sales offices, Brother head office in Japan, and within the major accounts to ensure that European and national objectives are met.

Main Tasks

  • Manage and take ownership of recurring and ad hoc administrative support functions across multiple workstreams for a major trade customer
  • Support the management of commercial relationships with a small number of major international accounts
  • Develop deep knowledge of Brother company, products and basis for competing in each category, in order to be an expert in the field on industry trends and movements
  • Support SOHO management team with transformation of Brother’s channel strategy for SOHO printing products on a Pan European basis, taking ownership of project time management and ensuring goals and deadlines of project are met
  • Maintain close working relationships across internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Analysing and reporting sales, promotional and market data to advise on strategy and direction
  • Ensure appropriate agendas, briefings and background preparations are in place for all meetings with relevant minutes shared and follow up actions managed
  • Ad hoc tasks as required within department to meet objectives and KPI’s

Requirements:

Essentials

  • Graduate calibre
  • High levels of numeracy, literacy, IT and presentational skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of the sales process, contemporary business management concepts, category management and customer marketing disciplines
  • Experience of delivering complex multi-level projects
  • Basic understanding of P&L management
  • Knowledge and experience of working with and influencing other functions of an organisation i.e. sales, marketing, customer services, product planning & supply chain
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
