We are looking for a full-time legal assistant to join our busy Personal Injury Department to deal with administrative tasks and in addition to assist with calls on legal helplines covering a wide range of legal areas. The legal helplines are run by the firm on behalf of a client. This role is ideal for a candidate at the start of their legal career and for gaining experience of dealing with clients from the outset.

Dealing with telephone calls within both departments.
Providing administration support to lawyers within the personal injury team and on the legal helplines
Drafting letters of instruction to medical experts.
Digital filing, photocopying and collating documents.
Maintaining diaries, arranging appointments with medical experts and arranging conferences with Counsel.
Creating and sending SharePoint links to third parties.

Ideally the candidate will be in the process of studying for a legal degree, SQE or towards becoming a Chartered Legal Executive.
Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PDF documents.
