About The Role With Wise Assets , we’ve enabled customers to grow the money they hold with Wise - giving them access to government-backed assets that track base rates, or a global stock index fund. This is a product that challenges traditional banking by putting customers in control of how their balance is held. Banks keep the yield; we pass it on. We are looking for x2 Engineering Managers to look after Investments and/or Savings. The Approach Is Unique A current account backed by real assets Daily returns across the entire balance Instant access with no penalties or lock-ins Segregated, bankruptcy-protected custody Now we’re expanding the offering further. We want to let customers invest in individual stocks, build long-term, tax-beneficial money pots, and manage more of their financial lives directly through Wise. As well as, playing a key role in pushing Wise Assets proposition further by adding new types of Assets supported on the platform - balancing risk and yield - so customers could choose what works best for them - you will also be pushing tax efficient wrappers for our Wise Account. You will define how this works from the ground up - shaping the product, the technical foundations, and every detail that makes it real. What You’ll Do Partner with a Product Manager and a cross-functional team to shape the roadmap, set the technical and product vision, and ensure we deliver scalable, resilient solutions. Lead, coach, and mentor a talented group of engineers — helping them grow, removing blockers, and enabling them to do their best work. Ensure strong execution: clear planning, realistic commitments, and healthy team operations. Stay close to the tech and the product — setting high standards for engineering quality and leading by example. Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Work with other engineering leads across Wise to keep the team aligned with our wider technical strategy and long-term architecture. Own hiring, development, and long-term impact of your team.
