This opportunity is a hybrid role from their office in Chippenham. Act as a SME on cybersecurity, the current threat landscape, and stay updated with trends and innovations in the security industry.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and objectives. Ensure a strong focus on protecting an organization's technology infrastructure and data from cyber-attacks.
Prepare detailed technical documentation to support the improvement of a customer’s security estate, serving as a resource for general advice and guidance.
Deliver technical training and enablement sessions to sales teams, partners, and customers, empowering stakeholders with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively position and/or sell cybersecurity offerings.
Engage, alongside account managers, with customers to address technical challenges, provide solution recommendations, and overcome obstacles. Build strong relationships with customers based on trust, credibility, and expertise, with a focus on key enterprise accounts.
Proactively collaborate with the wider pre-sales team where a link to cybersecurity is required (e.g., cloud, networking teams). Build relationships with sales, product managers, engineers, and service desk teams to drive overall business success in security.
Over 2 years of experience in a pre-sales or similar role within a managed service provider (MSP) or reseller organization. Good knowledge and awareness of global information security standards, including ISO27002, CIS, NCSE CAF, and NIST CSF.
Advisor in advanced cybersecurity services, including SSE, SASE, SIEM, and MDR/EDR.
