Role
We are looking for a Chief of Staff who will act as a vital part of the senior leadership team. In this role, you will provide strategic direction, manage projects, and promote communication across our organisation. Working closely with the Co-founders, you will play a critical role in enhancing internal operations, refining processes, and optimising reporting structures.
In return, you will gain insight into all aspects of our operations and decision-making processes. This opportunity offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in a rapidly expanding startup environment.
You Will:
- Act as a primary liaison among the founding team, facilitating communication on the company, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning.
- Collaborate closely with external vendors to drive business growth. Whether it's nurturing governmental relationships, managing grants or fostering partnerships, we seek a versatile professional who excels in a wide range of areas.
- Take charge of daily operations alongside senior managers. Execute administrative duties such as planning annual meetings and coordinating facilities.
- Streamline onboarding, managing documentation, onboarding processes, and effectively resolving employee concerns.
- Foster robust relationships with all employees to enhance operational efficiency and responsiveness. Contribute to the formulation of new operational strategies through collaboration with senior leadership on special projects.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, addressing inquiries, formulating action plans, and assisting in the preparation and dissemination of communications.
It'd also be great if:
- You possess a growth mindset and demonstrate entrepreneurial inclinations, perhaps envisioning the establishment of your own venture in the future.
- You embody a proactive attitude to tackle challenges head-on and can independently taking initiative.
- You bring 2 years of legal experience, preferably within VC/Startup environments at a top law firm, or in Tech M&A at a leading Investment Bank.
- You are a former lawyer with an LLB or LLM degree, and are eager to transition into a dynamic high-growth startup environment.
