Mechanical Fitter.

Due to the retirement of a long-standing member of the maintenance department, an opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter / Senior Mechanical Fitter to join their team in West Bromwich and support within a lower tier COMAH facility. Working within the talented Mechanical Maintenance team, the key responsibilities for your new role are as follows:
* Mechanical preventative and reactive maintenance work, including working on gearboxes, pumps, mechanical seals and pipework.
* Mechanical plant installation and modification work.
* Statutory inspections such as pressure testing, plant integrity and commissioning work.
* Using computerised maintenance management systems.
* Working in accordance with the company safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
My client is keen to hear from people who possess a Level 3 in a practical mechanical fitting or engineering discipline and proven experience of working as a Mechanical Fitter in a fast-moving industrial / manufacturing environment. In return, my client is offering a salary of £28,800 for a Mechanical Fitter and £31,900 for a Senior Mechanical Fitter with significant experience. The role will operate on a 40 hour working week and the hours will be 8am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday.
