Product Design Teacher / Product Design ECT

This Ofsted 'Outstanding' school based in the heart of Hounslow, London is on the hunt for a Product Design Teacher / Product Design ECT.

The school is well known for its commitment to creativity, offering a range of programs in music, art, and technology to its students. This has seen a huge rise in uptake of creative subjects at the school, achieving some of the best results in the borough

The school are looking for a DT Teacher with a specialism in Product Design to join their school, the DT department at the school had massive uptake across KS3-KS5 and has a large, friendly team.

Product Design Teacher / Product Design ECT - Job Description:

  • MPS1-UPS3 + TLR
  • Delivering lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Creating engaging and inspiring lesson plans that communicate a clear set of learning objectives.
  • Developing the student's subject knowledge and understanding of key concepts through using a range of teaching strategies.
  • Providing constructive feedback and assessment to students on their progress.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop the subject curriculum and resources.

Product Design Teacher / Product Design ECT - Person Specification :

  • Have a strong passion for creativity and share the school's commitment to nurturing student's creative passions.
  • Hold a relevant degree
  • Experienced teacher and ECT encouraged.
  • Be able to provide excellent classroom management.
  • Be able to deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
