Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship

You will work with dynamic teams on a variety of projects across multiple sectors from day one. You will ask questions, look at problems from a different angle and help find solutions that break concepts.
As an apprentice you will aid shape the communities of tomorrow, embrace change and achieve excellence.
You will join an existing team working to develop BIM models for the Structures discipline. A typical week would include producing both 3D and 2D modelling. Learning a variety of software packages, and building strong work practices, gaining knowledge of heath, safety and wellbeing.
The Apprenticeship
You will start your Apprenticeship in September 2026, attending a local College for one day per week, and working towards achieving a Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship and EngTech equivalent in England (equivalent to 2 A Levels). The apprenticeship supports career growth through blended learning. It offers business and role-specific training, networking, mentoring, and practical experience. It includes an induction, training days, online content, on-the-job learning, and on-demand resources.
Together with the dedicated Early Careers team, support from your team and assigned buddy, we will work closely with you over the course of your apprenticeship to support and plan a development pathway that suits you.
Typically, the Apprenticeship takes between 2-3 years to complete (including End Point Assessment in England).
We also have a unique Professional Growth Network (PGN), which is a networking group run by early career professionals for ECP’s. It helps to grow your network of contacts across the business as well as providing you with opportunities for extra experience and to support you in achieving chartered status or other professional accreditations.
Achieved or predicted 5 GCSE’s Grade C/Level 5 or above (or equivalent) including English, Maths and Science.

After passing the online assessment, if we have suitable apprenticeship, you may be shortlisted for an interview day or interview. Please note that not everyone who passes the online assessment will proceed to the interview stage.
