Podiatrist Specialist

Provision of high quality podiatric care for patients with pathological foot conditions and those individuals at risk of developing serious foot health complications in a range of specialist podiatry clinics in nail surgery, MSK Podiatry and Diabetes in various geographical locations. Management of a domiciliary caseload is required.
You are required to have experiencewith extensivewound care management and a broad scope of podiatry practice. You may also be required to occasionally cover our satellite clinics.There will be supervision and mentoring from senior colleagues.You will also supervise band 5 podiatrists, podiatry assistants and students, promoting evidence-based practice and supporting decision making.


The goal of the service is to enable patients to make informed choices about how to manage their condition, so that they can stay as well as possible for as long as possible, and reduce their risk of diabetes-related complications. This a full-time post, but applicants who are looking for part time hours or job shares will be considered.


The post will involve some travelling throughout Powys.


The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine or equivalent.
