As the Head of Finance at OutForm, you will oversee the financial and commercial aspects of our business. Your role will involve strategic financial planning, managing commercial contracts, and optimising financial performance. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in finance, a keen eye for commercial opportunities, and the ability to drive sustainable growth. As Head of Finance, you will have
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; such as Professional Accountancy qualification. You will preferably be a member of a recognised body of accountants (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Proven experience in both finance and commercial management roles ( preferably in a Professional Services Organisation)
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
You will build/nurture and shape a finance function that is future-proofed for the expansion of the business, your responsibilities will include
Contract Management:
Collaborate with accounting and delivery teams to mitigate commercial risks and ensure contractual compliance.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Monitor project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas for improved efficiency.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall objectives.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
Monitor financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Cultivate strong relationships with Key Account Managers and Client Directors to understand their project and client needs
Collaborate with the Bid and Business development manager to identify new opportunities for revenue growth.
Support in Bid management for the preparation of competitive and compelling commercial proposals for prospective clients.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess potential commercial risks associated with projects, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
