Link3 Recruitment is seeking a talented and creative Head of Modern Foreign Languages (French & Spanish) required to start work in one of our Secondary Schools located in Loughborough LE12 (September 2024 start).

Job Details:

This Head of Modern Foreign Languages role is full-time and starts in September 2024.

We require an eager and passionate Head of MFL that will innovate and raise standards as well as attainment. A good sense of humour, the ability to relate and effectively communicate with young people are essential.

To be successful in this Head of Modern Foreign Languages position, you will:

  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
  • Have previous experience working as a Head of MFL or within a Secondary School setting.
  • Have some understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
  • Have a passion for working with young people.
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
  • Innovative and resourceful teaching methods.

Essential Requirements:

As a minimum, all applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 1 years experience working as a teacher within a Secondary School setting.
  • A positive approach to child development, managing behaviour and being passionate about your area of expertise is evident in your teaching.
