Sheridan Maine are supporting our client who are a highly successful, privately owned and long standingGroup, who are seeking a Group Accountant/Finance Managerto join their business based full-time from their offices, in North Dorset.
This is a chance for theGroup Finance Managerto establish themselves, by leading the finance team and building strong collaborative relationshipswith the Senior Leadership Team and assist in thecontinued organic growth and progress of the business.
Preparation and reporting of Group Management Accounts
Assisting in the preparation of draft annual accounts for annual Audit
Working with Accounts Payable/Receivables to resolve queries, escalating if required
Manage payroll process ensuring robust financial controls are inplace
Ensure Groups compliance with VAT / PAYE & P11D reporting
Monthly reconciliations of the Balance Sheet
Reporting & detailed analysis of revenue and gross margin
Overhead variance Analysis andIntercompany Accounting
Maintenance of financial policies and procedures, suggest improvements, implement and monitor ongoing financial control
QualifiedACCA/ACA/CIMA Accountant or equivalent
Manufacturing experience & Group accounting is desirable
Advanced Excel skills
