Join our Manufacturing Engineering team in Willenhall, United Kingdom, and experience an innovative culture that empowers you to build a career you can be proud of.
Act as a key member of the Engineering Team, you will support improvement of assembly and primary processes. Drive automation implementation. Use Lean principles of Flow, TAKT and Value Analysis to reduce costs.
Support new product introductions and factory relayouts. Develop alternative production methods using Lean tools and techniques, support and drive automation and robotics implementation.
Design factory layouts, fixtures, tooling, materials handling equipment, along with designing manufacturing processes for new products as part of the new product introduction process.
Create drawings and concepts using a variety of software including CAD SolidWorks, ME10 and Microsoft Windows.
Introduce Quality improvements (e.g. gauging, traceability, measuring), and p roduct cost and runtime analysis.
A good Understanding, and able to read production drawings.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
Experience of project management.
Experience in production cost analysis.
