We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our Traditional Village Pub and Restaurant. As the Main Chef, you will be responsible for the culinary operations of our Pub and restaurant. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills, culinary expertise, and a passion for creating exceptional Traditional Pub Food including the Sunday Roast. Duties: Food prep and cooking dishes on order for customers, Manage and supervise the kitchen staff and other kitchen personnel Create and develop innovative menus that align with our restaurant's concept and target audience Ensure food quality and consistency by overseeing all aspects of food preparation and production Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper food safety procedures and culinary techniques Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop and implement cost control measures Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques to continuously improve menu offerings Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Proven experience in food production and culinary techniques Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail to ensure food quality and presentation standards are met Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and restaurant management If you are a passionate chef with a creative flair, strong leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences, we would love to hear from you.
