Responsibilities

To be part of an expanding team in the UK supporting more than 25 aircraft operators to reduce their maintenance spend.

Achieve cost reductions on aircraft component repairs through the creative application of engineering principles, data analysis, new ideas and commercial negotiations.

These reductions will be generated though contract interpretation/enforcement, warranty optimisation, tactical and project based cost reduction/avoidance opportunities.

Each engineer owns a specific customer account and is responsible for achieving or exceeding contractual customer requirements whilst working as part of a team within the Technical Services function and a global customer / supplier base.

Qualifications

Looking for candidates with relevant commercial or hands on experience (from an airline/MRO) or a recent graduate engineer looking to kick-start a career in aviation.

Airinmar promotes from within, so this role can provide an exciting career path for talented team members. (The majority of Airinmar's Senior Leadership Team joined Airinmar as a Tech Services Engineer)

Candidates should have a NVQ, HND/HNC, Degree or Masters, ideally in an Engineering discipline.

Prior Aerospace experience is not a pre-requisite

Hands-on engineering experience is preferable

Strong data skills would be desirable

Language skills are desirable

Ability to travel internationally is desirable

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

Location

Airinmar employees less than 100 people, with the majority based in its Wokingham facility, 6 miles south of Reading, Berkshire

Airinmar also employs a number of on-site representatives in Australia, Spain, Germany, Hungary, Philippines and the United States
