About the Role We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated and pro-active individual to join our Mould Repair Department as a Glass Mould Machinist at our Leeds site. In this role, you will ensure all mould equipment and accompanying parts are maintained and ready for production runs in line with operational requirements and productions plans. Responsibilities Maintain mould equipment and ancillary parts (5kg–45kg) using provided tools and machines. Follow all work instructions and company health & safety procedures. Wear appropriate PPE at all times. Record maintenance information accurately using recognised documentation. Promote continuous quality workmanship and attention to detail. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in the work area. Qualifications Suitable candidates should be fully apprentice-trained or possess the applicable skills and knowledge, and have a good level of Maths and English, together with excellent problem-solving skills. They should also be enthusiastic and committed, with a pro-active and flexible approach to work. The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise your workload is also essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Required Skills Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail. Ability to work flexibly and respond promptly to service requests. Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach. Professionalism, accountability, and commitment to health & safety. Preferred Skills None specified.
