Responsibilities:- Full Inspection of manufactured product to the business required standards from start to finish of the production process ensuring at all times a 15 point check sheet is correctly completed, recording findings and analysing trends. Thorough inspections are to include but not limited to:

  • All manufactured windows
  • All aftersales ticket items produced as per the production planner
  • All samples
Using the Company process of the 15 point check sheet, comprehensive inspection of all windows documenting every aspect against the relevant works order. Proactively embrace Total Quality Management (“TQM”) through the production Process abiding by the Company’s ISO 45001 accreditation policy standard. Inspection of bought in goods by a 3rd party manufactured product (should this not say supplier) to the customer’s requirements, documenting the results. Full glass inspection against the Company visual standards. Inspecting of sample batches of balances for correct strength and straightness. Inspection of all rejected components from glass through to individual profile before being passed to the production office for return ensuring the Company process is always followed Cleaning product to the Company standard process ensuring correct labelling is in place. Carrying out any required minor repairs to all products at the end of the production process during the inspection Proactively leading and co-ordinating the participation of weekly Q.C Meetings and Improvement meetings of product development for the business. Managing and highlighting issues for communication and resolution. Implementing the continued production improvement programme activities Responsible for working in a Health & Safety compliant manner and environment. in line with the Company’s ISO 45001 to include specifically the mandatory wearing of PPE as per Company policy. Feeding back to management room for improvement and raising awareness for staff health and safety. Minimising the creation of waste materials, disposing of any waste material in the correct manner, ensuring the working area and all walkways are clean and tidy. Effective communication with all levels of the Company. Requirement & Skills Experience in quality control, inspection of product and window fabrication, with commitment to TQM and environmental management. Excellent attention to detail, good communication and admin skills required Benefits Competitive Salary Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am -230pm, Friday 6am -2pm. Apply today
