At WSP, you’ll find yourself exploring new opportunities to make the most of your expertise, work with deep technical experts across multiple sectors, and help develop our depth of expertise in Social Value within our Policy Monitoring & Evaluation technical capability
Across our major programmes, our clients seek our support in meeting their Social Value objectives through activities such as impact strategy development, supply chain data collection, reporting, and compliance to ensure positive community economic, education and environmental outcomes. We support our client with embedding social value into their operations and meet growing stakeholder and regulatory demands.
Working in our II Operations and Safety Group, the successful candidates will work collaboratively with other specialists across WSP, matching your Social Value and monitoring & evaluation skills to projects and major infrastructure schemes in fields such as Highways, Rail and Energy.
Development and ownership of a client’s Social Value framework, at a regional or project level, setting priorities and actions.
Undertake local needs analyses to understand the challenges communities face and how best to address these through project delivery.
Co-create bespoke social value plans for projects.
Work with Project Directors and the wider team to ensure they understand the social value commitments and that there is budget available to deliver them.
Working collaboratively with our Clients and partners, to provide expert social value advice to help them deliver their objectives and optimise benefits. Contributing to the growth of the wider Monitoring and Evaluation capability team to support delivery against its ambitions.
