IT Environment and Build Lead - Permanent - London

We’re seeking someone with a passion for technology to play a pivotal role in managing cutting-edge IT environments and driving efficient build processes in a forward-thinking organization.

As the IT Environment and Build Lead , you’ll take charge of managing application test environments and coordinating infrastructure requests for servers and Azure resources. You’ll ensure systems are robust, cost-effective, and scalable, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integration and operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing development, testing, and production environments while maintaining performance and stability
  • Managing deployment processes with the IT Release Manager to deliver accurate and timely releases
  • Liaising with stakeholders to design, optimize, and manage IT resources while minimizing costs
  • Developing strategies and implementing tools for environment and build management to enhance processes
  • Partnering with internal teams and external vendors to integrate hosted applications and ensure compliance with standards
  • Resolving environment and build-related issues while staying ahead of technological trends

Skills/Expereince:

  • Proven experience managing hybrid on-premise and Azure cloud environments
  • Technical expertise in Azure infrastructure, Windows Server, and application hosting
  • A strong background in deployment automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of environment management tools and strategies to optimize performance
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and technical teams
  • A proactive mindset for troubleshooting and solving complex technical challenges
