SLD Pumps & Power, a Carrier company, is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of pumps and generator rental equipment, proudly supporting industries nationwide with reliable, high-performance solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer/Service Technician to join our team at our Walsall depot. This hybrid role covers both depot-based and field-based work across the West Midlands, offering excellent variety and exposure.
Servicing, maintaining, and repairing pumps, generators, and diesel-powered equipment across both the depot and customer sites.
Preparing, inspecting, and testing equipment to ensure it is fully operational before deployment.
Collaborating closely with the service team, hire controller, and foreman to support seamless operations.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment, ensuring all equipment meets quality standards.
Mechanical experience working with plant equipment, pumps, generators, and diesel engines.
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, an M&E-related apprenticeship, or equivalent.
A full UK driving licence.
