The NPD Process Technologist will act as a key link between the product development and the production line. Challenge current factory processes and look for continuous improvement, efficiency and value engineering opportunities to achieve product quality consistently. Identify & help launch new technologies to enable the delivery of the company Product Innovation Strategy. Plan, organise and carry out factory trials as part of the EPD and NPD programmes. Lead continuous improvement initiatives across all company product & process portfolio and work closely with the Technical, Operations & Engineering teams, ensuring effective implementation of changes. To co-ordinate pre-production and launch preparation Contribute to post launch evaluation of process in conjunction with Technical Team to ensure process established at launch is still valid for full scale production THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We're looking for a candidate that shows enthusiasm, initiative and is well-organised and reliable. You will be a passionate, driven 'foodie' with an excellent understanding of fast paced food manufacturing processes. Product consistency throughout the process is essential to meet customer requirements. Degree in Food Science or related subject, alongside previous experience of working within FMCGs in the food manufacturing sector.
