Job Responsibilities:

  • Test all main assemblies and sub-assemblies (including PCB's) to the correct test procedure
  • Ensure all sub-assemblies and tested components are completed on time and in-line with delivery schedules
  • Maintain and help generate test procedures and build documentation
  • Test any PCB's or assemblies to component level in accordance with test procedures and quality control standards
  • Maintain/repair and help design company test equipment
  • Raise change requests and provide information to improve product quality and efficiency
  • Support others with training by sharing knowledge and skills
  • Understand and interpret electrical drawings
  • Carry out soldering and electrical looming to a high standard in line with company procedures
  • Good knowledge in the use of fibre optic termination equipment and testing
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with best practices and health & safety policies
  • Have further education in Electrical or Electronic engineering (e.g. Experience of PSUs - including HV PSUs would be desirable but training will be provided)

Key Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of electrical and electronic components and principles
  • Experience in quality, health, safety, and environment (QHSE)
