You will be part of a widespread and large team of electricians, providing preventative and corrective site maintenance across the O&M portfolio and supporting the team with new build integration duties.
Additionally, you should have good knowledge of Solar O&M, as well as HV and LV systems, ensuring all electrical work carried out must be in accordance with industry standards and good Health and Safety practices.

You will oversee the HS and quality on new sites
Repair equipment when necessary and Inspect work for satisfactory performance.
Participate and provide on the job training to colleagues
Ensure compliance with company health and safety policy
Recognise issues and assess risks and review any findings with management
Identify and meet personal job-related training and development as required.

H&S responsibilities as per company H&S Policy:

To this end it is expected that all employees and subcontractors irrespective of position or employment status within the Company have the same personal responsibility this extends to (but not limited to):
# Adhering to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and operational policies and procedures
# Wearing personal protective equipment when conditions require or where identified by risk assessment method statement or mandatory signage
# Reporting any medical problems experienced when undertaking any work functions to the Line manager and Health and Safety Team, adhering to Occupational Health Surveillance requirements
# Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping throughout their areas of work
# Must hold a Level 3 electrical qualification.
Training will be provided)
Worked on large scale solar projects, preferable but not essential.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of DC Electrical systems
Must be hardworking, reliable, and flexible
Must be able to work well as part of a team & also be able to work well alone.
