Project Architectural Technician

In order to meet ever growing demand, a dynamic and ambitious Architectural Technician/Technologist with broad ranging design experience, is required to support the delivery of a portfolio of prestigious projects for a highly regarded, well established and growing architectural practice based in the Weybridge.
Our client is a versatile, design-focused practice based in Weybridge with a portfolio of residential, commercial and listed building projects throughout the South of the UK. They offer bespoke design and planning services for high-end, one-off, residential clients to larger, multi-unit and mixed retail/housing schemes, whilst also working on a number of leisure schemes.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of building construction, demonstrated by a good working knowledge of Autocad and, ideally, Revit. Experience and a familiarity with a range of construction methods is essential in addition to the practical ability to interpret existing and proposed plans and surveys and create detailed technical drawings to a high standard and specification.
Have a good knowledge of and a clear understanding of Building regulations.
Be competent in the use of AutoCAD
Help prepare planning drawings which are produced using Revit software
Work under limited supervision to agreed timescales
Experience of working on planning and Building Regulations applications and know how to manage and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Strong technical written, verbal and graphical presentation skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite, Autocad and, ideally, Revit.
Sound knowledge of Building Regulations.
Experience using Lumion software would be a distinct advantage, although it is not essential.
Have a full understanding of relevant construction, health and safety legislation, planning standards and UK building regulations.
